Delicate, smooth and subtle. Brewed in traditional methods, this Barvarian style wheat beer soothes with fruity aromas, banana and clove flavors and playfully light body that finishes smooth.

12oz can, no date, served in a Libby globe porter glass.
Appearance: Lightly translucent golden yellow-approaching amber. Thin white ring of foam, an occasional small island of lacing noted.
Smell: Banana and clove.
Taste: Tastes a lot like it smells, but with some wheaty malt in the middle. Surprisingly crisp.
Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated, approaching fizzy. Dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: Unusual for the style - has the smell of a Hefe, but tastes and drinks like a combination of a Hefe and a lager. Went well with Jalfrezi veg and basmati rice. Not sure I want another in a sitting but okay with food.

Pours a deep golden orange/ brown. Little head even when I try. Quite cloudy as is expected.
Smells of cloves and maybe cardamom.
Tastes like it smells, strong clove and spice, underscored by the funk people call banana. I don't get banana, but I know this is the note people call banana.
It is well carbonated and crisp. It is a bit thinner than I prefer, but I think that's the style.
This was my first hefeweizen. It is very good. After this I've also tried hofbrau and weihenstephaner hefeweizen/hefe weissbier. I was surprisingly unimpressed (not to say they weren't good). Meaning this local brew stands up with the famous German beers, and a couple dollars cheaper.

12oz can canned 5/19/22 into a Spiegelau glass.
L: Pours dense apricot color hazed on top, lighter on bottom, low carbonation, 1" eggshell white head goes down to edge foam, no lacing.
S: Malts, fruity, a hint of banana bread, lightly floral.
T: Malts, caramelized sugar, light pineapple, yeasty Dum Dum's pineapple candy, banana & clove, a hint of citrus zest, fairly delicate.
F: Very soft, casual medium light bodied mouthfeel w/a clean smooth fast finish. Kind of lazy.
O: A very soft & smooth good tasting beer with agreeable drinkability. It is good in it's style.

L: Pours a hazy pale gold, and even with a non-careful pour, forms approximately one finger of white foam that dissipates almost entirely in short order.
S: The nose is primarily clove and grain, with faint, soft bubblegum notes.
T: The flavors in this beer are overall rather muted. A mix of bubblegum, clove, and pear flavors swirl about one another without rhyme or reason as it moves along the palate, and it leaves not much of an aftertaste.
F: Quite thin and watery, particularly for a wheaten malt bill.
O: Not exactly an impressive example of a hefeweizen, and not one I'm likely to repeat.

Look - slight haze yellow slight slight orange no real head or skimming
Smell - sweet banana slight clove
Taste - about the same as the smell but pretty light
Feel - light body and carb, kind of syrupy
Overall - ok but needs some work. Does have a Bavarian like style though

This could easily become one of my favorite american brewed Hefeweizen.
Clove and banana notes, just the way I like it.
