From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid American style porter pours a
dark muddled brown with a nice head of khaki head of foam that settles
to a thin ring, thin dusty layer, and shows some nice light lacing. Nose of
light pine and herbal hops, dark cocoa, dark coffee, and earthy malts. Flavors
lightly surpass the nose with herbal and pine touched hops with dark cocoa,
dark coffee, earthy malts, light char, and medium grain notes. Nice mouth feel;
medium body, light carbonation verging on medium light, and a nice bitter
malt lightly dry finish.
Overall, a solid brew
Cheers

12 ounce can, 10.25.21 stamped on the label, big thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a dark brown color with about an inch and a half light tan head that stayed around a long time. There's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, coffee, bittersweet chocolate and some earthy hops. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some sweet bready/grainy malt flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating, smooth and a bit creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I think it's a good robust porter with a nice hop kick to it, worth picking up if you get the chance, I know I'd like to try this one again in the future!
