From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This monster pours a rich coal black with a
moderate had of khaki foam that settles to a thick kahki ring, subtle swirling
light film, and shows some light lacing. Nose of rich bourbon, dark chocolate,
vanilla, astringent booze notes, light char, and oak notes. Flavors follow nicely
with dark bakers chocolate, vanilla, oak, char, brulee, dark fruit, dark molasses,
and dark coffee notes. Nice mouth feel; medium full verging on full body, smooth,
rich, coating, warming, rich, and finishing with a nicely balanced bitter malt and
warming bourbon note that is moderately dry.
Overall----a true winner from the excellent brewery!
Cheers
Of Note: This beer has been rebranded Brewers Maul, same great brew in Augusta Bourbon barrels.
Cheers

4-pack of 12oz cans from the brewery.
Deep brown color with a mocha layer of foam.
Roasted malt aroma with bourbon notes.
Taste follows suit with coffee and molasses.
Medium to full body.
I like it.
