12 ounce can, canned 11.02.22. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Decent amount of lacing, too. I like the aroma, the brew smells like vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, burnt/charred malt and some dark berries. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oak, dark bread, caramel and salty/minerally flavors. Good amount of barrel character. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit creamy with a good amount of soft, zippy carbonation. Thought this was a good overall brew, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

Canned on: ?????

A - Dark brown pour with no lacing and no head whatsoever, any head dissipated as fast as it was poured.

S - Chocolate toasted malt, some chocolate char, light molasses, Bourbon, oak, leather, sweet malt roast, and alcohol.

T - Bourbon from start to finish and in your face. Underneath the wall of alcohol lies some sweet chocolate, toasted toffee / caramel, oak char, a little bit of spiciness, and some light saltiness. Ends with a little bit of sweetness and alot of Bourbon.

M - Big medium body that's thick around the edges and thin in the middle, silky smooth, no carbonation, and alot of warming in the back of the throat.

O - This beer is pretty much a mess with not enough malt backbone to support the overwhelming Bourbon character of the beer. I love barrel aged beers but it kills me to say the Bourbon dominates too much and gets in the way.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via Jamie! Cheers Dude! This solid
imperial pours a dark brownish black with a nice head of khaki foam that
sizzles to a thin ring, faint lacing, and nice legs with a swirl. Nose of
bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee, coffee hints, and dark bakers cocoa.
Flavors nail it for the style with cocoa, coffee, bourbon, vanilla, oak,
dark fruits of blueberry and blackberry, and subtle sea salt. Excellent
mouth feel; full body verging on medium full, light effervescent carbonation,
smooth, warming, and finishing with a spicy booze, roasted malt, and subtle
sea salt finish.

Overall---more excellence from an excellent brewery!

Cheers
