From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This excellent brew pours a dark coal black with a
nice head of light brown foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and
showcases some light lacing. Nose of spicy rye, vanilla, oak, dark chocolate,
subtle coffee, dark fruits, and astringent booze. Flavors hit the mark with spicy rye
whiskey, oak, dark chocolate, dark berry notes of black and blueberry, subtle cream,
brulee, char, deep roast, and mellow vanilla. Nice mouth feel; full body, slick, smooth,
coating, rich, light carbonation that is just enough to offer lift, and a warming boozy
finish that is slightly dry.

A great brew....period.
