I’m really digging this for a couple of reasons. Simply put, it’s a tasty toasty roasty Dry and surprisingly easy drinking stout. What’s more, it’s got a really nice subtle but present touch of heat from the deftly added Habanero that works wonderfully with the chocolate and roast overtones but never overpowers or takes center stage (unless you’re very sensitive to spicy heat).

Pours a near black body with a sizeable fluffy mocha tan head that dissipates slowly.

Smell is surprisingly modest chocolate and malt, the faintest hint of diacetyl.
Taste is all chocolate, with a sturdy roast and caramel backbone followed by a habanero heat that is more feeling than flavor and a dry medium light body finish that really makes me want more.

One of the best I’ve had from MD Beer Co. Really happy I have another to share.
