Amber colour, with good foam, thin and compact.
Smell herbaceous and hopped, with notes of malt, lightly sweet.
In the taste the bitter is very strong. There is again even the sweet of malt, and light caramel.
Medium body.
Bitter aftertaste, quite persistent.
Not bad, even if maybe is a little unbalanced toward the bitter (but we like bitter...)
For the alcohol stated... the same of the other strong beer of this brewpub: if the 9.0% ABV are real, the alcohol is very well hidden. At the taste, it seems a beer of about 7.0%...
