Honey hued under a retaining white cap.
Drought-riddled grassland aroma with must and earth.
Dry initially. Crackers and crusty sourdough. Sweetness begins to creep, then rushes in. Full-fledged honey, with restrained ale-like apple esters. Turns grassier and gassier. But is muddied by the psuedo-farmhouse yeast. Lacks a sense of well-lagered cleanliness. Grainy bread finish with lingering herbals.
Sort of a mangled dortmunder-pils cross.
Not hideous, but not worth seeking.
