Poured from a bottle (08Aug2019) into a Belgian glass (wrote yesterday, hadn't posted)
L: opaque darker yellow gold, with a very rich thick white head. Tons of beautiful small bubbles in that thing. Some very light visible carbonation. The neck of the nose was full of sediment, so not sure if that’s impacting the color i.e. if clear otherwise. Not a negative for me either way. Awesome large white lacing
S: very smooth, full farmhouse nose. Good amount of hay, slightly herbal, some lemon (imagine this’ll increase as it warms). Definitely has this citrusy/grassy thing going on, some dough/flour aroma as well. Bit of oak, some musty funk as it’s sat in the glass
T: delicious. Great lemon-forward farmhouse character, slightly peppery/herbal towards the middle. Get some dough, flour, underbaked bread. Has this great almost sweet finish I’m trying to place, will return. Medium/long finish, oak here along with the bread notes. Flavor gets a bit lighter and thinner as it gets to room temp
F: medium/high carbonation, medium body, quite full on the tongue but not close to viscous. Body thins out a pinch as the beer warms to room temp
O: amazing, excellent brew from Weaver Hollow. Very full flavored, wheat character is fantastic, oak comes through well. Just great
