On-tap @ Jersey Cyclone Brewing Co. in Somerset, NJ.
Pours medium amber with a creamy white head that leaves behind rings of lacing all the way down the glass. Great clarity.
Sweet bready malt aroma. A touch of floral hops at the end. Deep, grainy malt flavor with a mild bitterness at the end. Balance leans towards the malt, as it should in a Bockbier. Very clean in the finish without becoming too sweet. Impressive for a style that's not easy to nail. As enjoyable in the fall as it would be in the spring.

Pleasant drinking experience. A maibock, it pours dark amber in color, fairly clear. Smells malty, bready. Taste is also malty and bready, but also has a bit of a hop bite. Not too much. A little herbal. Tastes very smooth and thick. Definitely a liquid loaf of bread. Nice beer from Jersey Cyclone.
