Appearance is a solid black with no head.
Body is just above average,slightly thick and oily. Carbonation is definitely on the light side.
Aroma is black coffee,malt, roasted malt, bakers dark chocolate, earthy bitter earthiness. Has an unusual but pleasant mixed dark fruit.
Taste is very similar to aroma,a bit dry,bitter black coffee. There is definitely a dry earthy hop taste that lingers. Despite high abv its fairly well hidden which was very impressive.
Overall it was an incredibly well done beer
