Copenhagen 16/2 2023. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller web-shop. Black label with a lot of staring eye-balls which seems unable of falling to sleep.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. Stable. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark malts mingling with a prominent scent of bitter black coffee. Dark roasted malts, honey, brown sugar. Black espresso and bitter cocoa.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and earthy. Lingering. Finish is rather dry and a bit harsh.
Quite a Coffee boozer.
