Copenhagen 29/3 2023. 33 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Green can which looks like a close up of some kind of foliage.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Disappears after 10 seconds leaving meagre remains of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark sugary sweet odor mingling with dark and sweet alcohol. Brown sugar in abundance, toffee and caramel. Light spice with vanilla and cinnamon. Sweet bourbon. Light touch of peat.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft and viscous texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sugary touch. Lingering. Finish is kind of dry yet sugary.
Potent whisky boozer with a light touch of Christmas spice.
