Copenhagen 100/11 2025. 33 cl waxed and capped bottle from DrikBeer web-shop. Close up of broad , grey paintbrushes on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Disappears almost completely leaving only a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, candy like, malty odor mingling with a cake-like quality. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Hints of coffee and tiramisu. Sweet bourbon and wood.
Low carbonation Thick, viscous, soft, oily, a little sticky, fat and creamy texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Finish is boozy and a bit dry.
A potent boozy cake-bomb.
