Copenhagen 6/12 2025. 33 cl waxed bottle from DrikBeer web-shop. What looks like a full moon trying to shine through grey clouds on the label.
Pours opaque murky mahogany with a light beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet odor of oxidized apple and a bit fruit sugar mingling with tart and sharp notes. Applejuice, ginger, anise and a hint of cinnamon.Whiff of vinegar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lively and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and boozy.
An almost cider-like sweet sour.
