Poured an almost black (or maybe is black) body with two-finger head and an aroma that reminds me of a port or sherry wine (sweet malts along with hints of dark fruits and cherry seem to pop up). Woody smoothness, a mild chocolate and dark fruit-like sweetness in a mild, medium-bodied beer that goes easy on the roasted and dry malt presence. Easy to drink sipper with hidden booze and is a semi-sweet beer that has enough punch to balance everything out.
