From a 350 ml bottle with a BB date 1 year in the future stamped on the label. While 12 or more months since bottling seems like an overly optimistic span, this "Indian Pale Ale" is off-centric having a way stronger and somewhat darker malt load than even a British IPA. There's no shortage of hops however. The result is delicious. By far the most interesting and best tasting Central American beer I've tried.

Bottle dated 5/3/25 !!!) into pint glass. Pours a honey-gold with a huge creamy white head. Good lacing. Quite malty, but with enough hops that you know it's an IPA. Sweet, with a soft and thick mouthfeel. Finish is malty and sweet. Overall, a welcome change from the typical tropical fare.

Bought and consumed in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. This one has a real bite to it. Hoppy with some pine and lots of citrus peel but not very light, as seen in some other craft brewers around this country. This was a nice find but not as refreshing as I would like in the heat. More a traditional IPA than a tropical one, if that makes sense.
