Bought and consumed in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The beer is a hazy orange color with a nice white foamy 2 finger head with good retention. The smell is oddly absent from the beer. With some digging, there is some grain, crackers, and a light balancing earthy hoppiness. Taste is light and sweet with a slightly sour tang. Has a bit of berry in there somehow. Balanced by a grainy character. Smooth and drinkable. Something is slightly off here but not terrible. I wouldn't call this a "golden ale" or blonde, but I'm not sure how to classify it. That's what it's called. It's good, but has some quirks. Still better than the mass produced lagers in CR.
