Bough and consumed in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The beer is more pale than red, but settled on a light orange. It is murky with almost no head to speak of. The smell was good, with hints of tartness actually, and then a grainy aroma underneath. Taste was flat, mostly grains and a touch of earthy bitterness. Beer was pretty flat feeling too. Overall, this was not a highlight for me. However, it seems to be part of a cheaper line - this was less than a dollar. Try one of their other beers.
