We commingled German Dortmunder and Yirgacheffe coffee to create this special contribution to our cool weather lineup. Dortmunder was given proper time to lager before our coffee beans were roasted, off gassed for 48 hours, then ground and immediately and in our beer. Fresh coffee essence in a subtly sweet light beer.

On tap at the brewery.

The beer has a darker golden color to it and it is clear. There's a bit of a white head to the beer.
The aroma is dominated by coffee. It is a nice dark and rich aroma.
The beer has a malty biscuit hit right away. The coffee comes in stong next. This is a very roasted coffee flavor. The malty biscuit does come back as the coffee fades a bit. There's a bit of bitterness on the finish.
The body has a decent fullness to it. some clingy feeling.
Very delicious overall. Well made beer.

Growler, filled on 11/5/2022.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Thin finger bubble white head. Leaves strings and patterns of lacing.
Aroma is heavy on the coffee. Lightly roasted malts.
Taste is dark roast coffee and lightly roasted malts. Has some nuances of chocolate and dark berry. Brief fruity hops. There is sweetness mixed in with the more bitter coffee.
A little bit more than medium mouth feel. Very good carbonation.
Fresh tasting coffee infused into this lager.
