Great brewery down by the wharf. Lots of table seating inside, long picnic tables with umbrella on the front patio. Restaurant seating upstairs. Order/get your beer at the bar, then find yourself a place to sit. Knowledgeable bartenders, friendly and welcoming. Several styles on tap, leaning light British ales, all brewed on site last 7 years. Canned beer for drinking or takeaway (20% discount for takeaway). Great place to sit in the sun, drink fresh beer and look at the boats.

I visited Dancing Man Brewery a few weeks back while in Southampton for a cricket match. They had 12 beers on tap, split about half and half between cask ales and beers on CO2. I was particularly impressed with their Big Casino IPA; it's very well executed and quite tasty indeed.
The building the brewery is in is also very interesting -- the Southampton Wool House, built in the 14th century for the wool trade. The inside of the building is all stone and timbers and living history; the beers are good but it's worth a visit just to drink a beer in a 650-odd-year-old-building.
