Pours a deep dark brown with tan, khaki head. Vanilla, oats, and a little bit of Dutch chocolate on the nose. It's driven by Hershey's syrup with a fusel overtone. There's a touch of Vanilla as well. It's that alcoholic burn that is the most prominent feature of this beer. It's good on a chilly night like tonight, but is it what I want to drink as a dessert bier every night of the year? I've enjoyed it tonight, but I don't think I'd enjoy this every night.
