Pours a transparent golden straw. Pillowy spongey white head. It's very aromatic on the nose, a flowery bouquet but you know, smelling good. It's a little white grapey. Tons of white grape permeates with a speckling of black pepper bitterness and spice to break up that juice. The body is light - it very much reminds me of Tipo and the very best version of Luppolo (I side by sided this with Luppolo lately and the batch of Luppolo I have is not the best). There's a little bit of dry cracker - saltine/water cracker, not that buttery temptress Ritz. Anyway, as far as Italian Pilsner is concerned, this is a type tier entry. I've tried a ton of beers of this style - one that is much more nuanced than being a dry hopped German Pilsner and which has become trendy - and this one is elite. It is delicate and beautiful. At this point, what more do you need to see from this brewery. They're a top tier DMV brewery. I do not enjoy this more than Corn Crib. It is a helluva good beer though.
