Pours a golden with white head, good retention. Some floral character on the nose - I get a little minty menthol and some cantaloupe. It is mostly defined by a noble hop spice character. The barrel adds a touch of vanilla, toasted coconut, and oak to the finish which softens it. The bottle is a little softer and more delicate than draft. Much more delicate than the other lagers by Wheatland and not as crisp as a Pilsner as Found Artifacts. Good and unique, but not necessarily what I look for in a Pilsner.
