Canned on 11/10/22. Poured into a large stemmed tulip.
A very drinkable beer. A very low key take on a smoke beer. Comparable to a marzen or a kellerbier. 4.0
A - Pours a very nice clear amber with a 3 finger fluffy off white head. Good lacing as well. Low carbonation but a very thin lasting head. 4.5
O - the aroma is a bit odd but attractive. Certainly not your standard lager aroma, low hoppiness, almost leather-like, more fresh cut wood/oak than smoke. 3.75
T - Malty but not sweet. Oak and even some slight campfire but no acridity. Zero hoppiness that I can discern. 4.0
MF - Medium body with a neutral dry finish. Smooth. No lager crispness or bite. 4.0

On tap at the brewery.
Honey brown color, crystal clear, and covered by a remarkably sticky off white head.
Whisp of smoke, honey malt, clean.
Sweet wood, honey, slightly fruity, yet still clean, and a slightly liquid smoke finish.
Light to medium body, medium carbonation, with a clean finish.
This really is “smoke kissed”, just a touch of smoke. It’s a nice Bock or Vienna inspired lager with a slight twist.
