L: Pours a rich caramel that forms a thin khaki head, quick to fade with minimal retention and zero lacing in the snifter glass. Held to the light, this beer is a thick, opaque mocha hue.
S: Inoffensive. Some light toasted malts, coffee, and traces of chocolate.
T: Medium-roast coffee, almonds, toasted malts, caramel, and some light char in the finish. Sweet and crisp.
F: Medium-bodied. Crisp and to the point. Moderate carbonation.
O: This is a classic English Porter. Wish the ABV was a touch higher but it's the standard profile. Nothing special, no obvious weaknesses. Decent stuff.
