On tap, pours a clear very dark brown, bordering on black. Smell and taste feature nutty, roasty malts. Nice body for the ABV. A very excellent dark lager.

on draft, in a Willi Becher style pint glass
very dark brown, almost black, thick cream colored head. pretty good head retention. aroma and flavor has a nice roast level. very smooth feel
