Pleasant mid sized room with a U shaped bar, lots of tables and a second floor above for your dining pleasure. Cozy and inviting, with lots of windows and natural light…ample parking in the rear lot, friendly staff is always a plus.. These guys do not brew their own creations anymore, so what we really have here is a tap house …with about 20 quality craft taps flowing.. Extensive and eclectic menu of upscale pub grub…didn’t try the chow but the few plates that passed by our area looked and smelled enticing.
Well worth a visit for a few pints or a meal.

We stopped here for lunch and to try their beers. The place is just on the western edge of downtown on the main east/west street. There is plenty of parking to the side. The building is old, red painted and has character. The interior also has a lot of character with wood beams, wooden floor joists from the second floor, etc. A U-shaped bar with seating is to the rear of the pub, and there is plenty of tables/chairs. A spiral staircase rises to the second floor where it appears there is more seating. I noted several TVs around the taproom. The vibe is great. We arrived just after the lunch hour on a Friday and they were not busy, thus table service was very good.
There are 24 taps, and 15 of them held their brewery's beers. Since there are 12 guest taps (including 3 ciders), there must be additional ones that I didn't see. There are also 10 bottles/cans that include the macro beers, a seltzer and some NA beers. It's a nice selection of styles. We ordered a sampler of 5 of their beers so we could get an overall feel/rating of the offerings. (An orange sour, OktoBIRDfest marzen, a stout with cherry coffee, an amber and an IPA.) Each was brewed to style, except the OktoBIRDfest was not very flavorful at 5.8% abv. Our overall rating for these 5 beers was 3.85. (The beer list is on their website and is based on Untappd.)
The food is a step above pub grub, and we enjoyed what we had. It's a diverse menu, and is on their website under the Order Online (which isn't available). There re wines and limited liquor available, as well as soft drinks. We liked the place and consider it to be a worthy visit.
