Cream Ales are a style that isn't brewed enough. They are light in the vein of lagers, yet have a light, sweet taste to them and usually some discernable hop taste as well. I had this one on-tap at Frenchie's in Ypsilanti, MI, next to The Sidetrack Bar. Both offer a nice selection of craft beers and feature Michigan offerings, which is a good thing. This one pours out to a slightly dark gold in the glass with a slight head. Aroma is that of light cereal and grain. The taste is light and sweet, yet is slightly more complex than a lager. An easy-to-drink, yet not overwhelming session beer.
