had it on tap at the Pizza Plant on Transit Road. They served it in a goblet, 10oz? Looked kind of small. Poured a hazy orange color with a thin white head. The foam laced the goblet throughout the entire beer. Carbonation is OK. Aroma is hops, hops, and hops, pine trees and some sweet sugar. The hops dominated the taste, an unbalanced beer that needed more malt to round it out. Not a bad beer but could use a little help.

Pours a hazy golden orange, small white head forms, nice lacing and good retention. Smell is sweet, super pine, citrus, floral, some alcohol, crazy hoppage, malt is out the window. Taste is the same, tons of grapefruit, pine , little toffee comes through the middle, alcohol, huge hops in the finish, big bitterness but not harsh. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low to medium carbonation and very smooth hoppiness, some heat. The best beer I never heard of! What a DIPA should be, hopped up the ass.

Wow, what a DIPA this is. Totally against the grain if you ask me. Frankly, I didn't know it was possible to make a beer that bitter, this seems to blow every other DIPA I've had out of the water. This beer comes off so insanely bitter compared to other DIPAs for one major reason, light bodied dry malt profile! A lot of DIPAs are balanced with a strong and sometimes sweet malty backbone. Not Hopswitch! The thin body is indicative of a low finishing gravity, and a highly fermentable wort. The malt is really totally hidden, you get nothing but hops and alcohol in this beer. In fact, the alcohol flavors got overpowering while the beer was warmed.

The nose on this brew is amazing. I've smelled hops before, but int his brew you can taste the hops when you breath through your mouth near the beer! Graprefruit and resinously brutally abrasive bitter is the theme here, in aroma, taste and the whole works.

This beer is all about bitter, I've never tasted a beer so completely one sided and unbalanced. In this case, it's perhaps too unbalanced along with the potent alcohol notes. However, beeing a hophead I can't down it too much for being unbalanced.

Not a highly drinkable beer, this is definitely a sipper, and at $12 for a 32oz bottle, you don't want this to go fast anyway!

Great to see this brew in western NY,poured into a goblet a hezed deep orange with a tight but thin white head.Ahh the hops abound in the nose alot of citrus and pine somewhat resiny but very fresh smelling,I was warned about this being thin but I didnt find it to be so much so yeah a tad thin but it went down very well and was no where near watery.Unbalanced yeah maybe but damn for hopheads this is it it just so juicy and hoppy quite resiny and very citrusy a touch of toasted malt is there but yeah it takes a backseat.I loved it but I love the hops if you dont you might not like it,Iam glad to have tried it.14% alc hmm I doubt it if it is it is unbelievably drinkable.
