12oz brown bottle consumed in January 2010 – forgot to post this review

Michigan Brewing Powers 70th Anniversary Wheat Ale poured a cloudy pale yellow gold color that produced a nice fluffy long lasting head that showed good lacing. Aroma and taste was dominated by wheat with a light grapefruit like citrus flavor at the finish, however, bitterness is low. The Ale had a light to medium body and a good amount of carbonation.

Powers 70th Anniversary Wheat Ale is just an average American Pale Wheat Ale - was expecting more from Michigan Brewing.

Bottle received as an extra in a trade with FlandersNed thanks!

Appearance: Classic looking pale straw yellow body with a nice 1 finger white crown that rapidly dissipates but shows good lace.

Smell: like a macro at best. some wheat but a good amount of metal.

Taste: drain pour

Mouthfeel: On the light side of medium with enough carbonation.

Drinkability: Flavor is too bad for me to drink.
