This tasting was a 6% ABV brew. They must change recipes frequently, so it is likely that this is a completely different beer than that reviewed by sakaroo. Cloudy, dark amber with a thin beige head which quickly recedes into a scum with absolutely no retention or lacing. Mild carbonation. Aroma is thin and distant..slight hint of green apples and dark spoiling fruits. Flavor is lightly tart with a very weak sourness and potent fruitiness. There is a spritzy, grainy wet finish with suggestions of nuts. Mouthfeel is wet, smooth, and very mild with cookie-like sugars balanced by a fruity, citrusy yeast. Nice, although an extreme stretch to compare it to a traditional Flemish Brown Ale.
