a little darker in color than these usually are, and a little hazy too, looks a little less refined than i want it to, but the nose and taste and hop profile overall are excellent, among the best i have had from these guys, and there really is no trace of the alcohol at all in this, which makes it really dangerously drinkable at this strength. its light amber in color, but i dont get a lot of malt on it, instead i get big tropical hop notes of guava and coconut flesh, along with some tangerine and even kiwi fruitiness, its definitely got an essence of vacation to it, and smells and tastes real fresh. id love to know what hops are in here, as its quite unique. i get a little peachy sweetness in the hop profile too, and it seems to be pulling up just a big of grain sugar too. the hops really extend here, weedy and dank to me at the same time they are light and tropical, just awesome. unfortunately, a good hop profile does not automatically make a good beer, and this one remains a bit sloppy in terms of overall craftsmanship. it needs to be more carbonated, a bit drier, and there is a funny yeast aspect that i think doesnt belong here. it feels a bit more weighty than it should too. its close, and the hops are awesome. i bet when they make this one again its money. a little polishing away from excellence, but the hop profile has me excited!
