possibly my least favorite beer from these guys to date, and an apparent step backwards in quality from where it seems like everything else was trending. this is really whack on the fermentation side, full of odd phenolic character and a soapiness that i cant get past. the hops also seem way overdone, more green and vegetal than aromatic or flavorful, its harsh on the back end, and it lingers forever. it just seems like something went wrong here, rather a combination of things, and while the hop profile does still show some potential, this was not a pint of beer i wanted to drink, one sip almost ruined my palate, and i tasted it well into my next beer unfortunately. i get that these guys are emerging and new and still figuring things out and getting recipes dialed in, but someone should know that this isnt very good, and they should probably pull it off, sort of a black mark on them at this level. i like the fluffy feel it has though, and the carbonation is fine, this seems well constructed conceptually anyway, and ill try it again next time i am down there, it has to improve from here. really sloppy and flawed as it stands.
