Draft at Handlebar. Hazy golden, orange, flat pour. Faint fruity aroma, light malts. Taste starts with a big juicy blast and instantly trails off to nothing.

a worthwhile american pale ale. nice to have something a little lighter on the alcohol in here, but just as robust in flavor as the other hoppy beer they make. seems like quality is ticking up each time i stop in here, and this is quite a good pale, dynamic for a smash beer, if i am understanding it right, and something i could make an afternoon of, hazy and juicy, but not heavy or raw enough to be slowed down any. a strong citrus nose and taste to it, some white pineapple candy too, but meyer lemon, tanegrine, and clementine notes lead the way, simple on the grain side too, just a little dry cereal grip to a very basic build. the hops carry almost no bitterness, but the beer isnt wanting for depth or resolution, not in the least, its freshness and hop trajectory are more than adequate to make this interesting. i dont even know what varietal they have used in it, but its punchy and bright. subtle white grape, kiwi, and hard green melon as well, light biscuit, and a cleaner ferment than some of their other hoppy beers have had. approaching well refined here, drinkable too, but still with some body. excellent pale, super modern and good, i hope they keep this one in their regular rotation! so awesome that they keep improving here!
