Gatlinburg Brewing Company

Stopped in here while in Gatlinburg for a long weekend with my wife. The space is circular in shape with a long bar along the back wall. Kinda plain and non-descript in decor, the space is nice enough but lacks character.

Apparently they are known for having very good pizza, though we were just stopping in for a couple of beers while walking the strip, so we did not eat on this visit. I had the Red Rye-der Rye IPA, and my wife had the Otter Water (mixed drink), both were good.

The server was polite and attentive, though not terribly well versed on the beers.

Overall, I would definitely try this place again, next time we will try the pizza

I was pleasantly surprised with this brewery. I came in thinking it would be just as touristy as everything else in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and was wrong. I'm very glad I stopped. The two IPAs I had were well-made, my friend had the equally tasty brown ale. Nice but not expansive selection. Bartender was very, very attentive. Pizzas were well-made. I'd definitely go back.

 

 

Had dinner here on a Wednesday night around 7:00 and the place was almost empty. Lots of windows overlooking the street below. We had pizza and wings, which were pretty good. There is a decent sized tap list, and service was not bad. Prices were reasonable, bought a 4 pack to go and overall a pretty good place.

 

Had a nice time there. Beer was average/above average. Friendly service too. The brewery was an island in town for a good beer.
