in "downtown" Green Lane, right on Rt. 29, but the entrance is off Walnut street. There is a parking lot and some on-street parking for overflow. It's an former bank building - not the good historic kind, the kind probably built in the 70's or 80's in every suburb. While they've done some things to customize the taproom, it still feels like you're sitting in a bank lobby. There is a long bar with seating, then a few tables and benches as well. They had a few picnic tables outside too. There is a kids room, and couple of seats in the old vault. The Owners are striving for a handicap friendly place as their adult sons are autistic and are helping brew the beer.
Their thing is to add foraged herbs or other ingredients to their beer. They have 4 of their own beers on tap - a Dandelion Amber, a Honeysuckle Ale, a Pale Ale with Queen's Lace, a standard Tripel, and 4 guest taps from other local PA breweries that filled out the lineup (a lager, a pils, an imperial stout, and a rye pale ale). They also had some PA wine. Everything in either 8 oz or 12 oz pours.
I drank full glasses of the Dandelion Amber (it was fine, not too sweet) and the Honeysuckle Ale (not much flavor at all). I had samples of the Queen Anne's Lace beer (but than the honeysuckle beer, but not much flavor either) and the Tripel (okay, but a little sweet).
Service was a little awkward as you ordered beer with the bartender, but then went down to the end of the bar to the cashier to pay or open a tab. But it worked.
