Have been here numerous times and enjoy their pizza and the beers are a little unusual at times. My son played in a band with the owner when they were younger, and he has been to our home to practice with my son many years ago. So, if he is there we will talk. The vibe is heavy rock with loud music. Service is good and staff is friendly. They have a wall of coolers with many beers from around the area and beyond, so selection is great.

At one end of a very short, 1960's era strip mall, on the outskirts of Vancouver. Small single room with a mini stage in far corner. Polished concrete floor and lacquered picnic tables indoors, for most of the seating. Lots of Kiss paraphernalia on the walls, with a little Black Label Society on the side. A few big windowed refrigerators, with a good selection of canned and bottled beers. They were playing a compilation of youtube videos of the band - In Flames on TVs, connected to the in house sound system, while there. Their beers were quite middling, on average.

Heavy Metal is in east Vancouver Washington. The exterior doesn’t do justifications for this place. Interior is interestingly high tops and picnic tables with a wall of refrigeration’s and big screen projector TVs and a stage with loud speakers playing classic metal music and music videos.

The owners brew and their beer is both creative and somewhat funky. They have seasonal beers that ebb and flow with the seasons, but the vibe matches their beer profile. Their chef and kitchen crew have regular bar food and creative pizzas.

The service is always good, the people are fun and conversation in the pub is always about the music, beer and food. Love these people and really love the vibe.
