Copenhagen 21/5 2020. 33 cl bottle from Supervin.dk. Hjort's usual design with hop flowers falling this time in Mecca-brown. Sporting a Gold medal from the Danish Craft brewers Cup.
Pours unclear amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, caramel odor supplemented by lighter grainy sournesss. Toffee, caramel, hints of brown sugar. Lightly roasted malts. Light, bitter, sour odor peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a bit.
Middle of the road Vienna amber more or less doing what it is supposed to.

330 ml bottle, from Løvbjerg Brønderslev. ABV is 5.6%, IBU 25. Hazy orange to brown colour, moderate to small off-white head. Strong malty aroma, notes of caramel and over-ripe yellow fruits. Slightly sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops. Decent beer, but not very exciting.
