Angelina is a beautiful golden Maibock with plenty of body and a puffy creamy head.
A Lager-beer with a full malt character, where the Central European hops balance the beer beautifully, and complements with a sligtly spicy and floral aroma.
Won a GOLD medal at the European Beer Challenge 2021.

Copenhagen 11/9 2022. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Yellow label in Hjort's usual design with hop flowers falling gently.
Pours unclear murky amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Sweet, malty and toasted with a bit of alcohol. Sweet dark and toasted malts, toffee, sweet biscuits and caramel. Whiff of something chemical mixing in with the alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet toffee with a burnt streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
State of the Art Maibock - although a bit dark and with no apparent hop presence.
