A Belgian Dubbel with a slightly vinous character. A pleasant beer with a full body and good balance between the roasted special malts and the hops Target and Styrian Goldings. Lovely aroma of dried fruits. Notes of nuts and chocolate.

Copenhagen 13/5 2020. 33 cl bottle from Supervin.dk webshop. Brown label with dark brown hop flowers falling. They are boasting about a Silver medal in Danish Craft brewing from 2017.
Pours murky maroon with a small, bubbly white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer with no great succes. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, sweetly roasted and nutty. Brown sugar, milk chocolate, lightly roasted malts with hints of hazel nuts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste sweet and lingers for a bit slowly fading into a sweet finish.
Dubbel from the sweet side of town but certainly not without charm. Not outstanding but solid.
