Good Chemistry is a pale, hazy, lemon yellow colored ale with amber highlights. Head is cloudy, white, and lasting.
Taking a sniff, the first thing I note are bready malts combined with initially peppery hops. The center gives me aromas of ripe pear and fresh earth. Ripe, Seville oranges and hints of pineapple round out the hop profile giving a ripe, juicy, tropical and citrus hop profile. Everything a growing hophead needs.
On the tongue, Good Chemistry's mouthfeel is smooth, on the full side of medium and leads with gentle bready malts. As with the nose, Hop flavors are ripe, juicy, and overall tropical and citrussy. Again I get flavors of ripe pear with pineapple lending support and fresh, ripe oranges rounding things out.
Flavors are refreshing and balanced. The hops skew more tropical and less piney, making this a great summer IPA to enjoy on a hot day. The malt profile is present enough to give the flavor and aroma support and backbone, helping keep the beer from being all about the hop and nothing but the hop.

Pours a bright hazy golden orange with 2+ fingers of puffy off white head.
Aroma bursting with citrus hops, ripe pineapple, slightly piney and floral.
Sweet tropical fruit on the palate, juicy citrus - orange, tangerine - pineapple, floral note with a restrained pithy bitterness - avoiding hop burn.
Medium mouthfeel - juicy/fruity sweetness - moderate carbonation - nicely bittersweet tropical finish.
