Located in a former prison, this is at the top of the hill. The free funicular is the easiest way here from the river. The dining area is relatively small but the seating is doubled in good weather with their outdoor balcony.
There are about 16 beers available, including several from their Altelier series of single batches. The beers drift from their intended style a little bit but are otherwise quite good.
There’s a limited menu of munchies and pizza. This was also good. Definitely a local hangout as we sat and waited for table service that never came. Counter service only.
The choices in Turku are limited but this is a decent and convenient location.
