When we brewed our dunkelbock “Revelator” we took half of it and put it into rum barrels that we got from our friends over at Muddy River distillery. It aged for 8 months and has finally made it’s debut! This bready and malty dopelbock now has a barrel aged kick that is perfect to jump start your day drinking or help you wind down at the end of the night.

Southern Tier made a beer called “old fashioned” they discontinued that beer. Sad day. That was my favorite beer. However Armored Cow must have found the recipe. Wow this is now my favorite beer!
Maple flavors and reminds me of a bourbon or rum barrel beer. Very balanced. Great job Armored Cow!
