Poured from a 16 oz can into a Willi Becher Glass
The beer pours a dark brown color with mahogany highlights and about two fingers worth of khaki head that slowly recedes leaving behind very little lacing.
The aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, and a hint of coffee.
The flavor is toasty and earthy with notes of chocolate and coffee. Light bodied and moderately carbonated with a slightly bitter finish.
Overall, the beer is OK, but is missing something, and finishes a bit too bitter.
