Very slightly hazed gold. Big soapy white head settling to a substantial cap. Splotchy lace most of the way down. Appetizing (but light) nose of orange and grapefruit. Moderately sweet up front, quite watery up the middle, just a touch of bitterness to finish. Some pithiness. Quite bland flavourwise. Nothing off putting, but nothing memorable either. Ordinary in the end.

11.17 India Session Ale from Gateway City Brewing in North Bay, Ontario. 4.5 percent alc. and 40 IBUs. Beer pours a cloudy light golden colour with a medium white head that lingers. Lots of ascending bubbles. Smell is bland, but taste is hop piney goodness with a pleasant slightly bitter note. Mouthfeel is effervescent and overall the beer is light to medium bodied with a juicy finish. As session IPAs go, it’s decent and I definitely recommend trying if you enjoy the style. My favourite session remains All Day by Founders. At any rate, this one gets an A.

Pours a bright gold colour with a nice thick head on top. The smell is hoppy and fruity. The taste is a mild tropical and bitter with notes of grapefruit and mango. Nicely carbonated

Look: Bright gold, like apples juice. Tiny white head 1/2 finger which disappears almost immediately.
Smell - Pine trees and lemons.
Taste - Gentle piney hops. honey and lemons, with a slight earthiness.
Feel - Very round and gentle, plays in the back of the mouth.
A very gentle, light sessionable beer. Not a world changer, but quite pleasurable. A solid B.
