A moderate-strength English Porter with a restrained roasty character and bitterness. A range of roasted flavors, without burnt qualities, and a coffee-chocolate-caramel-malty profile. Different than an American Porter with softer, sweeter and more caramel notes, lower gravity, and less alcohol. 4.6% ABV 26 IBU

Sustained, tan head. Very dark brown, with a bit of auburn highlights, on the very edge of the glass. Restrained, dark roasted grain/malt aroma. A bit restrained and nicely sharp, really dark roasted grain flavor, with a medium light body, for a porter.
