A dark, full-bodied beer matched with balanced oatmeal flavour while being exceptionally light drinking. Delicious coffee and cream impression and a silky-smooth texture. The aroma is of dark chocolate and mild roasted grains giving a coffee-like character.

Black with a thick dimpled tan head. Pleasant chocolate coffee nose. Oatmeal smooth malt body with coffee notes and a dryish finish. A pleasant beer.

L- Pours a jet black hue with a slight ruby around the edges. Tan 1/4 finger head that quickly dissipates to a thin cap. Little to no lacing.
S- Roasted Malt flavours of chocolate and coffee, along with a milky sweetness.
T- Same as aroma. Not overly sweet - well balanced.
F- Medium body with low carbonation. In line with other Oatmeal Stouts that I've had.
O- Wild Goose is the first beer that I've had from 13 Barrels but I intend to try some more of their beers very shortly. It's nothing revolutionary, but a very good rendition of an Oatmeal Stout.
