Sasanoa Brewing is a rustic, coastal brewery located at Tarbox Farm on the end of an island. We find inspiration on the farm, from our natural surroundings, and the rocky coast of Maine. Our name comes from the Sasanoa River which flows past our farm connecting the Kennebec River to the Sheepscot River. We are proud to be Maine's first MOFGA certified organic brewery and one of 8 certified organic breweries in the country. Our first round of farm beers are brewed with 100% Maine grown organic ingredients including some from our own organic farm. We hope to continue to support organic grain farmers, organic hop growers, and organic malting facilities in Maine.
