Copenhagen 20/3 2021. 44 cl can rom Best of Beers web-shop. Metallic can with green areas where Hazy/DC is written in the classic style from AC/DC.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a gentle, sweet, fruity odor mingling with light citric notes. Peach, pineapple and hints of mango. Lemon and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweetish undertone. Lingers for a while Finish is semi-dry.
Silken, well-balanced, gentle NEIPA. Not much hard rock - more like a groovy, soft R&B song.

Pours a murky, hazed yellow color with a big, stable white head.
Smells of luscious ripe mango, tomato bush and flowery citrus. This complex first impression gets enhanced by fresh cut pineapple and passion fruit, entangled into unripe blueberries.
Has a creamy, smooth mouthfeel with a perfectly nuanced carbonation spark during its finish. While this stays longer on the palate, it drinks quite easy and soft, providing a pleasant refreshment at the same time.
Tastes of bitter lime pulp, sun ripened oranges, more bitter lime, papaya and soothing whipped cream. Turns a tad sweeter, riper, then, with papaya and kiwi cutting through, inviting mellow peaches to join in. Finishes with its initial lemon punch, enriched by a light ice bonbon quality, herbs and a remaining tropical fruit basket, leading to a long lasting, bitter aftertaste.
This provides a world class interplay between bitter and juicy, showcasing a fantastic depth while remaining an utmost easy drinker. This is great, without a doubt on of the better german representation of an neipa I‘ve had so far.
